As The Ready Writer, (Ps 45:1) I write primarily around lifestyle issues such as food, hospitality, and entertainment. I also write feature articles about people I find interesting as well as my own random adventures. I contribute regularly to Midtown Magazine, Cary Living, and Pinehurst Magazine.

Besides The Shared Table, I currently have two other blogs, Dainty Morsel (food related) and Turtle Muse, where I post thoughts on leaving the safety and security of your shell, the title and topic of the speaking I do for Stonecroft Ministries.

My kind of lady.  I should like to meet you dome day.
I also write.  I have several poems about Faith and how it applies to life  Would you be interested in me sharing perhaps one or two?   Though I have written a book of poems and some children's stories, I have published none yet except to print and mail all to myself to protect my copyright.

I am very impressed with your son Preston.  You have apparently done a fine job of raising him with Christian values.  Bless you.
I haven't done any public speaking yet although I am a 76 year young-atheart-great-grandmother; however, I believe that I will be speaking and writing before long.  Currently, I am getting started in real estate investment to get some cashflow.  As you know, Social Security doesn't cut it  as far as having enough to live on.

  3. Really enjoyed reading your blog.  I so much miss families around the dinner table but really have no one to blame but myself.  Loved reading your scripture throughout your blog and how various scriptures have spoken in different ways to you.  My favorite has to be the "darkness" and "shout out loud".  I often wonder what God has in store for my life but I keep waiting for some sort of invitation I guess.  Again, really loved your blog!!!
